Effects of language intervention program in pupils with Specific Language Impairment

摘要
The main objective of this study has been to analyze the effects of an intervention program implemented in two consecutive phases, and based on the theoretical foundations of focused stimulation and conversational recast. Two groups of children with specific language impairment (SLI) participated in this study. An experimental group with 6 children who were administered a language program, a control group of 3 children who had no intervention. It has achieved an overall improvement of language and, especially, in the expressive dimension, always in favor of the experimental group. However, there were no positive results for language comprehension. Conclusions indicated that the combined practice have a positive effect to improve the expressive language of the children with SLI.
