EFFECT OF ROW SPACING AND RICE SEED DENSITY UNDER SPRINKLER IRRIGATION (CENTRAL PIVOT)

摘要
One field experiment was carried out in the Southwest region of Goias, Brazil, to study the row spacing and rice (Oryza sativa, Rio Paranaiba, cv.) seed density under sprinkler irrigation conditions. The experiment was established in October 3, 1986, at Canada Farm, Jussara, GO. The experiment densing was a factorial arrangement of a randomized block design with four replications. Sixteen treatments were applied, matching spacings of 20, 35, 50 and 65 cm with densities of 50, 75, 100 and 125 seeds/m. The highest grain yield was achieved with the smallest spacing (20 cm), independently of seed density, The treatments bad no effect upon 100 seed weight.
