DEHYDRATION OF (DPA) VPI-5 - INSITU VARIABLE TEMPERATURE MULTINUCLEAR NMR INVESTIGATIONS

摘要
In situ variable temperature P-31 and Al-27-NMR provide choice techniques to follow the dehydration of VPI-5. Two samples were characterized by these methods. The first sample (VPI-5-A) is transformed into AlPO4-8 as soon as water is removed by heating while the second one (VPI-5-B) keeps the VFI topology, even after complete dehydration. The relative stability of the structures can be interpreted in terms of lattice defect density.
