摘要
Objectives: To identify and classify the expressions of satisfaction in the work process of the nursing staff. Method: A descriptive qualitative approach. A study carried out in the sectors of the Intensive Care Unit of a University Hospital in the city of Rio de Janeiro. The participants were members of the nursing team. Results: The nursing staff assigns meaning to the satisfaction of the production process to construct a pleasant occupation, recognized and well paid, with good working conditions, professional development, social environment comfortable, generating good result on the client. Conclusion: The meaning generated from the report on people who are dealing with daily activities relevant to their profession, should be considered as relevant to the institution to which they belong, in order to optimize the work environment and enhance the quality of life therein, generating positive results in production.
