摘要
The role of atmospheric pressure fluctuations in the generation of infrasonic underwater noise is investigated. Empirical data on the temporal spectral density of atmospheric pressure fluctuations are used for the underwater noise calculations. The influence of shear viscosity in the underlying half-space on the temporal spectral densities of underwater noise fluctuations is analyzed. It is shown that the calculated and experimental underwater noise levels can be comparable under certain conditions.
