摘要
A review is given of recent work concerned with the production methods and the characteristic properties of amorphous metallic materials newly developed in Japan during the last 10 years. Some of the topics covered include the following: (1) high-strength, light-weight alloys with an amorphous structure or with nanocrystals dispersed in an amorphous matrix; (2) soft magnetic alloys with nanocrystalline structures; (3) highly stable amorphous alloys with a wide supercooled liquid region, and their application to working processes.
