CYCLOTRON-RESONANCE IN A WIGNER CRYSTAL - A MEAN-FIELD APPROACH

摘要：
We show that a two-dimensional Wigner crystal in a high magnetic field has a distinctive microwave absorption spectrum which can serve as an experimental signature of its presence. Kohn's theorem does not apply in this case because the translation symmetry of the system is broken explicitly by pinning of the Wigner crystal.
