摘要
Companies face a dynamic environment, which generates constant opportunities of benefits in different markets. This situation generates knowledge through the learning processes that arise of the experimentation. The most important results in these processes are technological innovation, capacity to process information and to transform it into useful and competitive knowledge. Knowledge management is analyzed through a qualitative investigation applied to small and medium software companies. A case analysis is conducted to study eight companies. Knowledge management is facilitated by the organizational culture. However, little time availability of technical personnel is a barrier for knowledge management.
