Mechanical strength measurements are carried out on small cylinders of pure paste made of: 1/ mixtures of synthetic aluminate powders and Portland cement; 2/ alitic and belitic hydraulic binders with a high alumina content, produced at 1300-degrees-C in presence of calcium sulfate, phosphate and fluoride. Their performances are similar to French ''Ciment Prompt'' characteristics for C11A7.Ca(OH)2 or C11A7.CaF2 contents from 25 to 35%. For a 5% fluoroaluminate content, they become higher than those of Portland cement.
