摘要
The beta-decays of Ir-172-175 have been studied using a He-jet system through S-32 induced reactions. Beta-half-lives have been measured and compared with those given from alpha-decays. The level schemes of osmium nuclei are deduced and for Os-172 and Os-174, the 2(2)+ level is possibly located. The observed beta-decay half-lives clearly indicate an isomerism phenomenon occuring in light Ir isotopes.
