摘要
Thermoelasticity theory with two relaxation times is employed to investigate the second sound effect in functionally graded annular disk. The transition in material composition in geometry of the disk is assumed to be in radial direction where a power law form function is considered for the materials distribution. To study the multiphysics of the elastic and thermal fields the coupled form of the equations is considered. The Galerkin finite element method in conjunction with the Laplace transform is used to solve the coupled from equations. The temperature, displacement and stress fields in time domain are obtained using a numerical inversion of the Laplace transform and the material distribution effect on thermal and elastic fields is investigated. Finally, the obtained results are compared with the results of classical thermoelasticity theory.
