摘要
The low thermodynamic efficiency of thermoelectric generators results mainly from the irreversible character of the heat transport, inherently accompanying thermoelectric generation. Significant improvement of TEG requires a spatial separation between electric generation and heat transport. In order to prove that such a separation is possible (at least in principle), "Gedanken Experimental Device"-namely the thermogalvanic generator-is proposed and analysed.
