摘要：
Swelling of liquor droplets during combustion occurs in two stages. During drying, droplets swell to 1.5 times initial diameter. The degree of swelling is independent of liquor composition and process conditions. During devolatilization, droplets swell by 10-60 times in volume. Swelling is strongly dependent on liquor type, furnace temperature and gas composition. The effects of this swelling on entrainment and burning rate offset each other, reducing its importance to burning profiles in recovery boilers.
