Possibilities of change in the social patriarchal order: the case of Asturias

The inequality and the marginalization that the woman continues supporting in the public life and in the instances of decision are motivated by the patriarchy. Among all the factors that affect in its perpetuation, in this article we analyzed those that derives from the discrimination in the familiar space and those generated by the absence of a true coeducation. What attitudes the young people have towards a change in the construction of a different social organization? In order to answer this question, several results have been used from a quantitative study -a poll to a sample of 1.500 young people-and also from a qualitative one -with the accomplishment of four groups of discussion-all of them have been carried out in Asturias.
