摘要
A finite element approach to focusing field calculation in nonlinear acoustic waves is proposed. Under the assumption of weak nonlinearity, a linearized equation for the second harmonic wave is discretized for finite element method in space including the nonlinearities due to both particle velocity and sound pressure. Numerical experiments confirm that the present method is valid for the analysis of focusing source with large aperture angle. The diffraction of the second harmonic field depends on the nonlinearity parameter B/A.
