摘要
The resistant varieties constitue a primary component in methods of nematode pest management. This communication summarizes current knowledge of plant characteristics that limit the development of these parasites and describes their use in breeding programs. It emphasizes the interest in investigation of resistance process involved in such cultivars for scientific purposes of plant-parasite interactions. The use of resistant varieties is an efficient and environmentally safe measure.
