摘要：

The present article intends to accompany some roads and impasses faced by the politics of preservation, observing the recommendations proposed in the Patrimonial Letters that have been orientating the actions on behalf of the cultural goods, since the beginning of the century XX. Such procedure transited among national and international documents of different nature, declarations promulgated in the European and Latin-American ambit that echoed in this sphere.
