摘要
The lasing characteristics of argon in the visible and UV spectrum in a high-current discharge with a transverse gas flow are investigated. The mass flow rate, the atomic velocity in a discharge, the electron density and the pressure distribution are measured. The neutral atom density is estimated from the experiment. The highest specific CW UV power of 60 W m-1 from 351 and 364 nm Ar III lines has been obtained.
