摘要：
Developments in commercial satellite communications over the next 20 years will be determined as much by economic, institutional and regulatory matters as by technological advances. They will also be affected by the technical evolution of terrestrial networks and the prices charged for them. The authors forecasts the development of satellite communications over the next 20 years.
