摘要
The sensitivity of flowmeters to the condition of the upstream approach flow continues to limit the accuracy of operation of many devices. Acceptable approach flow conditions in general require long upstream lengths of straight pipe preceding the meter or the inclusion of some form of flow conditioning device. The paper demonstrates that acceptable downstream flow conditions can be attained within an overall length of approximately ten pipe diameters using a new form of hybrid flow conditioner.
