THE LOW-TEMPERATURE MECHANICAL RELAXATION IN CHALCOGENIDE GLASSES IN THE BINARY-SYSTEMS OF AS-S AND AS-SE

摘要
The temperature and frequency dependences of the absolute value of internal friction and shear modulus of glassy As - S (Se) alloys have been investigated with a torsion pendulum in the temperature range of 77 K - T-g (T-g is the glass transition temperature) for frequencies of 10(-3) - 10(-1) Hz. For the observed beta-relaxation process the appropriate parameters are estimated. The internal Friction maxims are described in terms of the linear viscoelasticity. The possible mechanism of the relaxation process under examination is discussed.
