摘要
In Germany the government has created a new law to modernize the healthcare system. In particular the outpatient healthcare structure has received a great deal of interest. In the treatment of epilepsy patients outpatient clinics in hospitals are another model to care for epilepsy patients. In Germany there is a well-established system of certification for outpatient treatment for people with epilepsy. With the introduction of the new systems, as there are also the outpatient clinics ( 116b SGB V) and the system of medical specialist care for patients with chronic diseases, a lot of competition was created with the aim of making medical treatment cheaper and better. Exemplified by a description of authorized outpatient care the advantages and disadvantages of the various options will be discussed.
