摘要
A theory of macroscopic local one-particle charge states in quasi-zero-dimensional structures is developed. Localization of charge carriers on a small sphere placed into some medium is considered Within the framework of electrostatics a general expression is obtained for the potential energy of it charge in the field of image forces on a spherical interface of two media with arbitrary values of a permittivities. It is shown that under certain conditions local states of various types appear in the field of electrostatic image forces. A new type of local states of charge carriers inside a small particle, namely bulk states, is predicted.
