摘要
This paper revises theoretical lines and analytical approaches of the term "popular culture". The reflection is located in the filed of culture and communication. By the end, an analytical proposal is developed, being it the use of two different words in order to a better understanding: popular cultures" and "popular-mass culture". Eventually, I suggest some research approaches on popular-mass culture Studies in the local and contemporary scenario.
