摘要：

In patients with symptoms of congestive heart failure, measures of left ventricular systolic performance do not correlate with exercise tolerance or indexes of functional impairment. Recent data have suggested that abnormalities in left ventricular diastolic performance, as well as in right ventricular performance, are more closely linked to the degree of symptoms and the inability to tolerate exertion in such patients.
