COLLOIDS AND MACROMOLECULES

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of foundation of the Magyar Kemiai Folyoirat a brief survey is given of some selected fields of both colloid and macromolecular science in Hungary. On the basis of our historical background and the most important results obtained in the last two, three decades it can be stated clearly that Hungarian scientists have contributed considerably to the general progress of these rapidly growing areas of natural sciences.
