OPERATIONAL-REGION DETERMINATION FOR THE CATHODE OF A GAS-DIFFUSION SENSOR WITH AN OXIDE SOLID-ELECTROLYTE

摘要
A theoretical analysis was carried out of the errors of gas-diffusion solid-electrolyte sensors which are caused by real characteristics of the working electrodes. The conditions which ensure a given accuracy in the concentration measurements were experimentally determined. Methods which deter-mine the boundaries of the operational region and ensure the necessary accuracy were proposed and tested. Studies were carried out of the characteristics of the cells with different types of working electrodes and different geometric parameters of the gas-diffusion barriers.
