摘要
As a consequence from its social sustainability commitment alternative tourism has been considered an activity that can change the traditional division of labour. Using a qualitative methodology, the productive participation of women in alternative tourism in Veracruz is reviewed; as a result occupational segregation and simultaneity between productive work and domestic labour and care work became clear. Gender mainstream appears as a potential tool to make the work of women visible and promote their access to public space and its resources.
