摘要
A series of new complexes of lanthanide(III) perchlorates with the Schiff bases derived from 4-methoxybenzaldehyde/4-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzaldehyde and 4-aminoantipyrine, i.e. 4-[N-4-methexybenzalidene) amino]antipyrine (MBAAP) and 4-[(N-4-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzalidene)amino]antipyrine (HMBAAP) of the general composition [LnL4](ClO4)3 (Ln = La, Pr, Nd, Sm, Gd,Td or Dy; L = MBAAP or HMBAAP) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, molar conductivity, molecular weight, magnetic susceptibity at room temperature, IR and electronic spectra. A probable coordination number of eight has been assigned to these complexes.
