摘要
The effects of interactions of ZDDP (zinc dialkyldithiophosphate) with the other extreme pressure (EP) additives on the tribological properties of WC coating were studied under ambient conditions. The results of wear tests indicate that additive interactions strongly depend on the types of combined additives and total concentrations as well as sliding distance. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy of the worn surfaces shows that additive interactions involve chemical interaction, competitive adsorption on rubbing surfaces and additive-surface interaction. Accordingly, additive-additive and additive-surface interaction mechanisms are proposed.
