摘要
The present article describes a simple application of miniscrew anchorage for orthodontic eruption of impacted canines by means of 4 case reports. It is shown that skeletal anchorage facilitates orthodontic treatment. In addition the periodontal shortcomings of the treatment outcomes are discussed and it is proposed to perform an apically positioned flap to uncover labially impacted teeth, instead of using a closed eruption procedure.
