摘要
The adaptation of the Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) method to the study of aluminum oxide surface interactions with organic and polymeric molecules is achieved through the preparation of a thin-layer of Al2O3 on the silver layer in which the plasmon is generated. Extensive analyses of this system indicate that it is not ideal, but adequate for SPR surface studies. The use of this system for specific Al2O3 surface analyses, including equilibrium and kinetic adsorption analyses, is demonstrated.
