摘要：

The paper deals with the role and place of the agricultural community-based cooperatives within the self-arrangement of the agrarian commodity producers and in the social capital forming in the rural areas. It also considers the conceptual instruments of the investigating problem and determines the peculiarities of the rural community and the agricultural cooperatives complementary development. The paper analyses the development of the agricultural cooperatives and their impact on the social and economic development of the rural areas was found out. As a result of the sociological interview it was investigated the main reasons motivating the agrarian commodity producers to self-arrangement while satisfying their needs in agrarian services; the ways of getting these services by agrarian commodity producers were also determined.
