OCCURRENCE OF THE HORN FLY, HAEMATOBIA-IRRITANS (L, 1758) (DIPTERA, MUSCIDAE) IN THE GOIAS STATE, BRAZIL

摘要：
The horn fly, Haematobia irritans (L., 1758) (Diptera, Muscidae) was recorded as introduced into Brazil in 1980. It was observed for the first time in the State of Goias in February 1990 in Morrinhos county. During a so short time (nine months) the horn fly spread to more 46 counties of that State. One factor that has contributed for this dispersion was the transport of the infested cattle without the due treatment.
