摘要:
A reliability and predictive study of a modified scoring system for the Reitan-Indiana Aphasia Screening Examination (ASE) was carried out using a mixed epilepsy population. It was determined that a reliable research scoring system of the ASE can be achieved with minimal training. Scores on the verbal and spatial components of this procedure highly correlate with Wechsler Verbal and Performance Intelligence scores. Interpretation of quantitative ASE scores is dependent upon qualitative assessment of the type and pattern of errors obtained.
