摘要：

A combination of thin layer chromatography with chemical ionization mass spectrometry has been developed for analyzing mixtures such as crude reaction products from a synthesis. Direct transfer of silica gel with adsorbed compounds from a TLC spot to a solids probe is made by using a Carbowax 20M pellet. Additional structural information can be generated by performing TLC-CIMS experiments after in situ ozonation of TLC spot material. This rapid method of analysis is valuable for monitoring highly accelerated organic reactions in a microwave oven. © 1990.
