MEISSNER EFFECT, CRITICAL FIELDS, AND SUPERCONDUCTING PARAMETERS OF YBA2CU3O7-DELTA

摘要
Magnetic properties of superconducting YBa//2Cu//3O//7// minus // delta are reported. The measured critical fields are H//c//l(0) equals 750 G, H//c(0) equals 23. 4 KG, and H//c//2(0) equals 880 kG. From the slope of the magnetization curve and critical field ratio the value kappa approximately equals 25 is obtained for the Ginzburg-Landau parameter. The coherence lengths are xi (0) equals 19 A and lambda (0) equals 485 A. We demonstrate a high sensitivity of the magnetic response to small applied fields. At 1 G, our sample has a nearly complete Meissner effect. We attribute this sensitivity mainly to the anisotropy of H//c//l and its small value close to T//c. The relation between H//c and T//c indicates an ordinary electron-phonon coupling strength.
