摘要
Two problems on the two-dimensional slow viscous flow due to the rotation of a body with cusped edges are considered on the basis of the Stokes approximation. An exact formal expression for the flow produced by the rotation of a star-shaped body composed of finite hinged plates of equal length and angular separation is obtained by use of the Wiener-Hopf technique. And an explicit expression for the flow due to the rotation of a hypocycloid is given. Special attention is paid to the flow near the protruding cusped edge for each case.
