THE DIALOGUE BETWEEN HUMAN RIGHTS, SOCIOBIODIVERSITY AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The The historical and evolutionary path of Environmental Law and Human Rights has not always been a common ground for such areas. For a long time, they went different directions. However, only recently have those two realms found an equally shared interest, thus creating the Socio-biodiversity Law. In such a context, the respect for the environment has to do with the comprehension and search for a life with better quality. As we analyze such questions, we will also try to evaluate the way the intellectual property assimilates the natural resources, which confirms a new troublesome juridical area, yet to be explored.
