摘要
An elaborated software package is described. It makes it possible to input outline-maps into a computer, to store them, and to carry out different operations, primarily of statistical data processing. Usage of this complex is illustrated with reference to the data of mapping of tree stands (including outlines of projections of crowns) of the forest-park zone of Moscow. The analysis of results of processing of maps of former crops provided the possibility of regulating the examined test areas as to different levels of the thinning process and appraising the proper distance between trees in a stable ripe tree stand.
