Solubilization of pyridine, beta and gamma-picolines. 2.6-lutidine, isoquinoline, piperidine and pyrrolidine has been determined in O/W and W/O microemulsions of sodium dodecylsulphate (SDS) and cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) by measuring conductances at 25 degrees C degrees It has been found that solubilization of pyridine and isoquinoline is quite low whereas beta and gamma-picolines and pyrrolidine are appreciably soluble in microemulsions of SDS rather than in that of CTAB.
