摘要
Cyclic voltammetry was applied to investigate redox couple reactions in HCl electrolytes on highly oriented pyrographite electrodes activated by oxidative pretreatment. The activation effect observed was unstable for the Cr**3** plus /Cr**2** plus reaction in comparison to the Fe**3** plus reduction. It is concluded that acidic surface oxides are participating in the redox reaction. These oxides are reduced, however, in the case of Cr**3** plus reduction near the potential of hydrogen evolution.
