摘要
Dielectric dispersions of trimethyleneglycol-water mixtures have been measured in the temperature range from 153 K to 273 K. Above a certain temperature, denoted as T(a), (for example about 193 K for trimethyleneglycol-water mixture with 2% water) the curves epsilon"(nu) obtained for different temperatures are different from each other for different temperatures and water contents, while they are quite similar to each other when measured below T(a). This fact suggests that, a self-organized critical state has been built up below T(a). Furthermore it has been found afresh that below T(a) all data fall on a single universal scaling curve quite accurately and the peak value of epsilon"(nu), denoted as epsilon(p)", changes linearly with log10 nu(p), where nu(p) is the frequency at which epsilon" becomes maximum. This linear relation can be rewritten as a formula which just corresponds to the Vogel-Tamman-Fulcher relation. Based on the present result the glassy transition of supercooled liquids is discussed.
