摘要
This paper presents verification of the simplified approach for seismic response evaluation of sites improved by deep mixing proposed in the companion paper. The results from centrifuge tests that measured the pore water pressure responses of many deep mixing treatment configurations and a field case have been used to verify the applicability of the proposed simplified approach. A menudriven, windows-based software package was developed to incorporate the steps in the proposed approach and allow practising engineers to consider many design scenarios involving various deep mixing configurations, site and excitation conditions for optimum design.
