摘要
A preliminary investigation of the e,(3-1)e and (e,3e) double ionization processes in argon and krypton, at approximately 5.5 keV impact energy is presented. The relevance of the resulting four-fold and five-fold differential cross sections to the study of electron correlation and/or to the identification of the double ionization mechanism is emphasized. Experimental difficulties are outlined.
