THE DECAY CHARACTERISTICS OF HYPOCRELLIN-A SEMIQUINONE RADICAL

The parallel relationship between the intensities of visible absorption (624 nm) and ESR signal of hypocrellin A semiquinone radical is established by the study of decay kinetics. It is useful to study of hypocrellin A semiquinone radical that the visible absorption (624 nm) is attributed to hypocrellin A semiquinone radical. The decay characteristics of the semiquinone radical, produced by the photoinduced reduction of hypocrellin A with reduced glutathione, are discussed.
