摘要
The purpose of this paper is to present a method for analysing the first swing stability by solving simultaneous differential and algebraic equations in time domain without system reduction. The CPU time required by the proposed method - which is always the first consideration in fast transient stability assessment - is less than that for contemporary methods including various techniques based on Lyapunov's direct method. The significant advantage of this method is, furthermore, that it can satisfy the modelling requirements, such as for successive contingent events, the different synchronous machine models applicable for the first swing analysis, the effect of loads, as well as automatic control operations.
