摘要
This paper presents an experience of music lessons at an elementary school, the CMEI "Menino Jesus". Starting from the premise that musical ability is developed through interaction with the environment, we discuss the importance and necessity of music education in early childhood education, as part of formation of the child. Through a literature review, were addressed some questions about teaching and learning music in the early years of scholarity. Of everyday experience reported in conjunction with the literature on the subject, we presented results of musical activities conducted with children between 0 and 5 years. As a perspective to think of music in early childhood education, we pointed out the need for a dialogue of knowledge-musical everyday teaching the teachers of early childhood education with their initial academical formation.
