摘要
Silicate glasses of different composition were implanted with silver and silver + nitrogen ions. Silver depth concentration profiles were measured by Rutherford backscattering spectrometry (RBS) and were found to depend on the glass substrate. The formation of silver-colloidal particles was detected by optical absorption: their aggregation behaviour was different depending on the different substrates. The effect of the radiation damage was investigated in the soda-lime glass by implanting argon before implanting silver.
