BOVINE ENTEROTOXEMIA IN BELGIUM .1. INTRODUCTION

Bovine enterotoxaemia is a syndrome generally associated with C. perfringens although that is not a well definite pathology at this time. In spite of the relative few cases reported, we can describe the principal faetures of epizootology, clinical finding and necropsy pictures associated with the different C. perfringens toxinotypes. The main failures of these reports are the absence of intestinal C. perfringens count and the few strains toxinotyped for each case.
